Indiana Barn Weddings

Barn weddings are very popular with many couples. Could be that barns are just plain fun for wedding dance receptions! But, who knew Indiana had so many barns to choose from! A few noteworthy barns which provide space for weddings in Indiana include

Conner Prairie is located in Fishers, Ind., just six miles north of Indianapolis, and is an interactive history park, an outdoor museum of sorts, affiliated with the Smithsonian Museum Institution. They offer many different sites on the property for weddings, including an authentic log cabin, an overlook room with large panoramic windows, and the Featherson Barn, with solid wood flooring and seating capicity for up to 112 people. Weddings at Mansions and Castles in Indiana

Again, who knew! Yes, there are mansions and and castles in Indiana. No need to trek on over to England for your castle wedding when you can have one right in Indiana! One such castle is Meyer's Castle, a mansion located in Dyer, 40 minutes south of Chicago, Illinois.
