Weddings in Idaho: Idaho Wedding Venues

Idaho offers an idyllic natural setting for weddings, no matter which region you choose. Some of our favorite regions in Idaho for couples wanting to get married are:

  • Northern Idaho - which includes some of Idaho's most beautiful mountain ranges and lakes, including the popular resort area of Coeur d’Alene.
  • Southwestern Idaho - where you'll find restaurants and venues in the town of Boise.
  • Southeastern Idaho - with the year-round resort community of Lava Hot Springs.
Three Great Resorts for Idaho Weddings

One of the best resorts to use for weddings in Idaho is the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The banquet halls are exquisite and can be decorated especially for you with flowers and sheers to make the room light up with your style. You can have your ceremony outdoors or on a cruise boat on Lake Coeur d’Alene. There is also a lakeside chapel that is ideal for a wedding ceremony. The resort also has a golf course, spa, and a penthouse suite to make any wedding a sure delight. Your guests can stay near you in the beautiful guestrooms located at the resort, with either gorgeous views of the lake, or lovely mountain views.

Some like it hot. Hot springs, that is. And the resort town of Lava Hot Springs offers couples a wonderful venue for weddings as well as honeymoons, with its famous hot pools which will delight couples as well as their guests. The Greystone Manor, located in Lava Hot Springs, is a lovely bed and breakfast inn which comes complete with its own nondenominational wedding chapel which can accommodate around 175 guests. As a bonus, you'll find a stairway for photo opps, as well as a reception area and bridal room.

For those couples who are into golf, Teton Springs Resort, with its award-winning Headwaters Golf Club, may be the perfect Idaho wedding destination. Located among three mountain ranges, and just 20 minutes from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Teton Springs Resort provides weddings from just the two of you to a grand affair of up to 500 guests. Their Stillwaters Spa provides brides with all they need for that perfect wedding look: Manicures, pedicures, hair styling, makeup application, and veil fittings.

Want a Great Garden Wedding in Idaho?

Then, think botanical gardens, as in the Idaho Botanical Gardens in Boise, Idaho! The gardens have an interesting history, having originally served as the farm and nursery for the Idaho State Penitentiary. Now, it's a 30-acre botanical garden featuring such gardens as the Heirloom Rose Garden, English Garden and Lewis and Clark Native Plant Garden. Couple the wonderful gardens with the Boise foothills as your backdrop, the Idaho Botanical Gardens is the perfect spot for an outdoor garden wedding. What's also great is that the Idaho Botanical Gardens provides services for very intimate weddings of 10, on up to grand weddings which can accommodate over 1,000 guests.

For Those Wanting a Wedding in the Boise Area...

In addition to the above botanical gardens, another couple Boise-area wedding venues you may consider is The Linen Building and the Sawtooth Winery & Vineyards.

The Linen Building was built in 1910 and was originally known as the American Laundry Building. Now, it's an eco-friendly events center and art gallery, perfect for couples wanting a contemporary, open space with an urban feel which can accommodate both their wedding and reception.

The Sawtooth Winery & Vineyards is a venue perfect for those wanting a winery wedding. Yes, it's true, there are wineries in Idaho! So, if you wanted a winery wedding, but didn't want to travel out to California, Oregon or the wine growing regions in Europe, the Sawtooth Winery & Vineyards is your place. Located about 25 miles outside Boise, Sawtooth offers couples a garden and gazebo with a lovely view of the Owyhee Mountains.
