Florida Destination Weddings

Outside of Las Vegas, Florida is probably one of the most popular destinations for couples considering a destination wedding.

Keep in mind that prices listed are the most current, but it's good to check with the venue or provider for any price increases.

If you're a non-resident of the state of Florida, there is no wait period from the time your license is issued and the time you can get married. Oddly enough, there is a 3-day wait period for Florida residents. No blood test is required of either residents or non-residents.

Also good to keep in mind is the hurricane season in Florida, which is June 1 - November 30. You might want to keep that in mind when making any wedding plans in the coastal areas of Florida.

If you want to keep it simple, but inexpensive, you might want to check out Ocean Drive Weddings, which will arrange for your wedding, where else, on the beaches Miami off Ocean Drive. They offer a "wedding menu" of sorts so that you can keep the wedding within your budget. A basic civil beach wedding ceremony goes for $260. The add-ons (for a price) include a photo session, stretch-limo, bridal bouquet and champagne. Services are performed by a non-denominational, licensed Notary Public and are available in different languages, including English, Spanish, French and German.
